Inkea participated in Furnitura Fair in Split, from 03rd to 7th of March, which took place as a part of a larger fair Gast, 15th international tourism, food, drinks, wine, hotel and catering equipment fair.We presented hotel and apartment furniture and reception desks, and came back to Zagreb full of ideas, new knowledge and contacts for future collaborations.

In the pleasant atmosphere
of St. Martin’s Day, on November 11th, representatives of Inkea and
School of Design at Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, Prof. MSc. Zlatko Kapeanović
and Prof. Mladen Orešković, industrial designer, spoke of Inkea being a friend
company to the School of Design. Students would then have a
place to go to for consultation and practice, and that would create the
prerequisites for future designers to sense what it means and prepare for
working and creating in the real economic conditions. Forming a strategic
alliance intended to improve furniture design was also discussed, and everyone
interested in creating and strengthening of the new image of Croatian wood
industry would be invited to participate.

This year, as well as many
before, at Ambienta furniture fair 2009, Inkea has been noticed and awarded.
Along with Silver Medal Mobil Optimum for innovative composable living and
working furniture program @home day,
Inkea received recognition for long lasting contribution to developing of
contemporary furniture, and high level of performance at the fair.

Design Center
As part of INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY exhibition organized by the
Design Center of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Inkea exhibited elements of
Wellness Office, DYNamic desk and Wing armchair. The exhibition can be seen
until 2nd of June 2009, work days from 10am to 4pm, and Thursdays
from 10am to 6pm at Design Centre, 45 Drašković St., Zagreb.
Inkea in Cologne second year in a row
Wellness Office presented at
IMM Cologne
This year, second time in a row, among Croatia’s best, Inkea
exhibited at IMM Cologne, Germany and presented Wellness Office, an office
concept already awarded at Ambienta furniture fair, Zagreb. The concept attracted
great interest as well as in Croatia, and opened the door to international
cooperation.
New Gold at Ambienta furniture fair
At 35th Ambienta,
held October 14th to 19th in Zagreb, Croatia, Inkea was
awarded for Wellness Office
Each appearance new award – that could summarize Inkea’s
appearing at Ambienta fair, since first in 2004 until this year’s which
gathered 744 exhibitors from 31 countries. Inkea was awarded Gold Medal Mobil
Optimum for a new concept of office furniture Wellness Office, program meant
for firms that want to increase productivity of their employers by investing in
their health. Using the knowledge and experimental results, this program was
designed with the desire to make work places more healthy, comfortable and
humane, and to reduce the negative aspects of long term sitting in the office
to the minimum.
